Ok, maybe not down by the river. But Blue Jays pithcer Daniel Norris is living in a van during spring training, to make his life easy. Kind of cool.

yeah I saw that. It is a little misleading, because the dude totally has a place, but off season he is just out camping in that thing. Good for him

It's easy to live in a van when you can shower/eat at training camp.
Whenever we have big family reunions (or similar) I'll take my van, pack the curtains, and set up camp in the driveway. Beats the hell out of a air mattress or some couch.
He's probably sleeping in the camp parking lot, though. Not too many places let you sleep in your car.

yeah when I had my vanagon friends would have me bring it to parties to set up as an extra outdoor spot to sit down and hang out. That thing saw a fair bit of nefarious activity to say the least.
